On Sunday, May 4, the parish of St. Joseph celebrated the month of Mary by crowning the Queen of Heaven with a floral wreath made and donated by Hugh & Joan Knox, in memory of Hugh’s mother.
There were a few sprinkles in the area, but it was the wind that did not want to cooperate.
The youth of our Religious Education program also participated by reading a Scripture note about the Mother of God, then placed a potted flower at her feet. The flowers were donated by John Musacchio of the Greenfield Open Air Market.
