Fish & Loaves Parish Food Pantry to Open

The parish Youth Ministry is in the process of opening a parish Food Pantry for use by parishioners of St. Joseph Parish.  The pantry will be open prior to the 8am Mass and after the 10:30am Mass on Sunday’s as well as during office hours during the week.  This gives people anonymity to shop with some privacy.

We need your non-perishable food donations to help stock our shelves!  If you wish to help, please label your donations for PARISH use or for use by the county pantries.  We cannot accept expired food!

The pantry itself is located in the parish hall closet next to the bathroom (look for the Fish & Loves sign).  We will have a Youth Ministry member discuss this new initiative at the Masses this weekend.

Thank you!

  1. Jim says:

Think low-fat, low-sodium food items if you have a chance. We’re going under the assumption the majority of shoppers will be for children aged 2-10 and the elderly, who may also be diabetic.
